Toys and Anime Characters

I didn't start out trying to shoot toys, but given my health and condition on the days I can't get out of bed or the house I started to shoot toys so I would have something interesting to shoot for the Daily or 365Project. My collection is of various Japanese anime, manga toys and other collections. Eventually I will probably break this down into separate groups.

August 11, 2011-I swear some days I find the coolest creatures in my room. I found this little frog, (actually he's still a tadpole) sitting on my computer. He told me there are more of his type and they are here on our planet. They are hiding all around the area. All I know is he is the youngest of the five. So far he is friendly and the gang wants us to keep him. Of course I will as I can't turn away a friendly face. :)(223:365)

August 11, 2011-I swear some days I find the coolest creatures in my room. I found this little frog, (actually he's still a tadpole) sitting on my computer. He told me there are more of his type and they are here on our planet. They are hiding all around the area. All I know is he is the youngest of the five. So far he is friendly and the gang wants us to keep him. Of course I will as I can't turn away a friendly face. :)(223:365)

  • No mail for you<br /> July 20, 2012-Broken Heart Robot, went to check on the mail. He was a bit sad and blue, that he didn't have any mail. I told him we could check to see if he got some email. (Day 20/365) *just realized I didn't post this on Friday.
  • Double trouble<br /> July 19, 2012-Another double trouble team that arrived and stayed to live with us are these two; Kidroyale and Kidneutron. Let's just say they have made themselves at home and enjoy teaching the gang some things I would prefer they not ever learn. (Day 19, 2012)
  • Zombie Robber<br /> July 16, 2012-While I was absent from the dailies, I had a lot of visitors, some good some very colorful. Here is one of the colorful ones he is called the Zombie Robber. That diamond on his head is one of his prize possessions. Day 16/365

  • August 22, 2011-We had a barn raising yesterday. Titus, Affonsoz and Hannibal from the I.W.G. got together and raised a barn for some of our friends. Everyone was so happy with them. (I didn't want to say anything but that roof is a bit off.) I'll see if I can get them to straighten it before the gang paints it. (234:365)

  • August 12, 2011-Did you ever hear a tadpole scream? It can wake the dead. Tamama Nitohei was startled in the middle of the night as the rest of us were when he spotted the mad scientist Dr. Leonardo eating our honey. Apparently Tamama has never seen a bear eating honey before. (224:365)

  • July 8, 2011-Remember Professor Layton? Well, he wanted me to let him have a little time to teach the gang different things. I guess like home schooling. Today's theme with visual aids is: Four things you can't take back and this one is: The stone after its been thrown. (Day 189:365)
  • July 6, 2011-I have a friend named George who lives deep in the woods, whenever George comes around we always have a campfire going, toasting marshmallows, drinking coffee or hot coco and swap stories ranging from ghosts, aliens and Bigfoot or rather Sasquatch. We always have a great time and often find we can't sleep for a few nights. Now you are probably thinking that Sasquatch don't exist, well a lot of folks believe that. I am telling you that is not so, and I have proof!This is Salvatore the Sasquatch; a friendly creature, doesn't smell as bad as folks have said. As you can see no one else is around, (they are hiding under my bed). I was lucky this came out with out being blurred from camera or rather whole body shake. (187:365)
  • July 4, 2011-As we were preparing for the 4th, the guys wanted me to take a group shot. While some of the gang was missing I decided to take the shot anyway, as they were hard to contain and control. Who wanted to stand next to who, who was touching who, our colors clash. It was just easier this way. Maybe next time the entire group will show up and behave. Hope everyone has a Happy and Safe fourth of July! (185:365)
  • July 01, 2011 (182/365) Meet Professor Hershel Layton-(レイトン教授 Reiton-kyōju). He is a professor of Archaeology at Gressenheller University in London. A rather dashing gentleman, with a brilliant mind for solving puzzles and mysteries. He drinks as much tea as I do coffee. And he always wears his top hat (I think to bed too!). Today when we chatted he wanted to run an idea past me and get my thoughts on it. I just need to get back to him with an answer before next week. (I can't believe he gave me a deadline!?!)
  • June 28, 2011-Seeing double? As I was getting some coffee, I heard Cheburashka yelling, "Gena come quick it's us, it's us, Gena!" Gena got to the computer first and thought he was seeing double, then he read the caption and told Cheburashka it was their cousins in Russia. Susan and Rustem had photographed them and posted their picture for us to see. Needless to say all of the gang gathered at that point and then I was booted off the computer until they all had their turn playing. Oy vey what a day! (Day 179:365 @sharkbayte)

  • June 24, 2011-Topo is a warm, friendly kinda mole. And Baby Milo is a mischievous chimp, full of life and funny. So when Baby Milo arrived early this morning, Topo was one of the first to greet him and Topo's first words to him was "Hug my Neck" (something I only heard said in the South). Baby Milo turned to the gang and said, "What neck?" That started the day off for us. I wanted a group shoot, but things got kinda out of control. Maybe I'll get them to calm down and get that group shot for tomorrow. No guarantees with this group though. I think we are in for a weird and wacky weekend! Hope everyone's is fantastic!
