Toys and Anime Characters

I didn't start out trying to shoot toys, but given my health and condition on the days I can't get out of bed or the house I started to shoot toys so I would have something interesting to shoot for the Daily or 365Project. My collection is of various Japanese anime, manga toys and other collections. Eventually I will probably break this down into separate groups.

April 23, 2011 – “The Easter Bunny helpers.” When Rickey and Jun left the house early today, I followed them as they were being so secretive. Now I know what they were doing and we have to keep the area a secret because they were doing a special task. Today’s task was to help gather the special eggs for the Easter Bunny.   • May 31, 2011-Uh-oh! I kept hearing some weird noises in the middle of the night. Not sure what could me making these sounds. Everyone was sleeping. So as I turned on the light I found the source of the sounds. Both claimed they were sleep walking...(Day 151:365 @sharkbayte) Thank you so much for all the kind comments on my picture yesterday.   • May 27, 2011-Monkeyshines. Our little Chebruashka thought this was one of the ball pits kids play in. Sort of gives a new meaning to stop playing with your food. More correctly stop playing in your food. (Day 147:365 @sharkbayte) Thank you so much for your comments on my picture yesterday.
  • May 26, 2011-All smiles, usually means someone is doing something or planning on doing something. Neither Ren or Chebruashka would give it up and the panda wasn't talking either.   • May 7, 2011-Close enough. I was telling the gang today is the 137th Kentucky Derby Race, aka 'Run for the Roses'. About an hour later, Chebruashka comes inside with this and says, "Here, I ran for the roses." I cracked up and told him it was close enough. (Day 127:365 @sharkbayte)
  • April 28, 2011- Some days, I could wring a few people's neck or shake them silly…but, I like to believe I am above that. Still the thought does cross my mind, even though physically I couldn’t. Disclaimer**No toys were physically or mentally harmed during this session. (Day 118:365 @sharkbayte)

  • April 4, 2011-Yay!! The boys are happy! I wanted to see how Gena and Cheburashka were doing being on their own. Much to my delight they are getting along fabulously. You can even see the happiness in Cheburashka’s eyes. As we visited they also told me that they wanted to move in here so they can be closer to the family and that they still want to go to the zoo every day and volunteer their time. Such good guys they are! I was more than thrilled that way we would all be together and that is something big for Gena as he was alone for so long. So I am happy to report they are doing great!   • April 2, 2011-Ren was feeling a bit neglected, and he wanted me to take his picture and use it for the dailies. “He said he had something neat to show everyone. He said his best friend besides Treeson, is his wagon; he can use it to haul anything and he never leaves the house without his backpack. His backpack is very special, it contains his secrets and because it holds his secrets he won't show me or anyone what is inside. Oh and he forgot to add Panda as his best friend too. And his name means “Human” in Chinese.”-Ren. Fascinating…I need another cup of coffee, I can see it’s going to be a long day once the other guys see Ren was on the dailies…(92:365 @sharkbayte)
  • March 29, 2011- As we leave our friends Cheburashka and Gene to settle in and get used to living together, we go back to the jungle and meet Captain Coco. "Captain Coco was once a simple and carefree monkey, living in a lush tropical paradise among his jungle friends. One day, smoke and noise woke Coco from a lazy afternoon nap; his jungle home was being invaded by evil developers! Captain Coco knew what he had to do. He alerted his pals and together they formed the Cocommando.   • March 28, 2011-Meet Gene, he is a crocodile of course and he is around fifty years old, which is very young for crocodiles. He used to live with his grandmother on the Nile in Africa before he left to see the world. When his money ran out he searched for a job and found one at the zoo. This is the same zoo where Cheburashka brought to live. Gene’s job at the zoo was to sit in an enclosure that had a pool, some rocks, a lounge chair and a tree and when visitors came to the zoo, they always stop and talk to Gene and bring him treats. When the zoo closes at night, Gene returns home to his lonely apartment. He had some hobbies but no friends outside of the zoo. Gene is tired of living alone and not having friends; perhaps having Cheburashka live with him would change all this for the better. Cheburashka could also work at the zoo and have his own enclosure to play in during the day. (88:365 @sharkbayte)
