  • A Wheel bug - Arilus cristatus. This is the largest of the assassin bugs. It gets its name from the cog like wheel on it's back. Day 337 (2010.12.03) #365Project @sharkbayte
  • This is a Green Iridescent Sweat Bee I believe it to be species-Agapostemon tribe-Augochlorini and a crab spider in the background. #365Project Day 301 (2010.10.28) @sharkbayte<br />

Thank you for all the comments yesterday on my Jumping Spider!!
  • This guy was very in-tuned with my camera, every time he heard the shutter he looked and came a bit closer....last time he moved. my chair was in reverse! Day 300 #365Project (2010.10.27) @sharkbayte (Pidippus princeps, Jumping spider)
  • I belive this is Pidippus princeps, Jumping spider probably a female. I didn't notice her at first but she jumped onto this leaf, then as I clicked the camera she turned (next pic) to watch.
  • I found this Nursery Web Spider (Pusaurina mira) on this plant. At a fast glance while rolling by I thought it was a pine needle or a leaf, as I got closer I can certainly tell my spidy senses were on! LOL! #365Project Day 297 (2010.10.24) @sharkbayte
  • Just hanging out. Not sure what species of land snail this is. I was thinking Glossy Covet-Fumonelix christyi. If any one knows the ID I would appreciate the information. #365Project Day 291 (2010.10.18) @sharkbayte
  • Snack time...For a Katydid. These yellow flowers were today's meal. I have some where the flower is in his mouth. I'll post those later. Day 290 #365Project (2010.10.17) @sharkbayte
  • These tiny flowers were loaded with these very small wasps. I am not sure what these are called but they are very tiny and line the pathway into the woods. day 286:365 (2010.10.13) @sharkbayte
  • This flower has a load of visitors, aphids, fly and the Lady Bug. I believe this is a sevemn-spotted Lady Beetle Coccinella septempunctata.
  • Pale Tussock Moth (Species Halysidota tessellaris - Banded Tussock Moth - Hodges#8203)
  • First thought this was a lady bug but as I got closer it turns out its a leaf beetle-Diabrotica undecimpunctata or a spotted cucumber beetle. #365Project Day 274 (2010.10.01) @sharkbayte
