On the lookout. Today there were a dozen or so birds in my neighbors yard. All the bird feeders were filled with birds. Then I noticed the cats moving in. This one was very alert to the cats. Day 24:365 @sharkbayte

• Danboard the baker. Do you want these frosted or unfrosted? Danboard wanted to surprise everyone with brownies tonight. So the next choice was frosted or unfrosted? I never had frosted brownies before but that does sound interesting. Day 23:365 @sharkbayte
• Just checking out the menu. He just took over this feeder. Not sure what type suet was added as this is my neighbor’s feeder. Day 22:365 @sharkbayte
for a bit better idea of the background this picture shows a bit more: http://sharkbayte.smugmug.com/Animals/Birds/11032758_ZsvgU#1163233225_yMUVs
• Bold and brazen at that. He didn't care I was eight or so feet him. he wasn't moving. So I put the camera to my face and shot this. Then he turned around I got another shot and then he took off to the tree which was behind him. I proceeded up my ramp, as I was going into my door I wanted to make sure he wasn't close by so Jasper wouldn't give chase. The squirrel was about my head about 4 feet away, not a care in the world. I was just happy that Jasper wasn't paying attention to anything other than his toy. Day 21:365 @sharkbayte
• Full Wolf Moon - or January's Full Moon. I was hoping to find out why I don't seem to capture as many details in a full moon shot versus a half moon or even a quarter moon shot. I'll try again next full moon. Day 20:365 @sharkbayte
• White Amaryllis, my neighbor called me over to check out her new plants she had gotten. I don't have a lot of flower photography skills, and had a hard time trying to figure out what to do with this one. Especially, I shouldn't be talking as I am holding the camera and snapping away. Day 19:365 (2011.01.19) @sharkbayte
• Together at last. Long lost brothers, Walter T Duck and his brother Wally T Duck, meet again after many years apart. Both photographers, are seen here catching up after a big meal. I ended up going to bed leaving them to chat. They were quacking me and the gang up with their antics and stories. Day 18:365 (2011.01.18) @sharkbayte
• Bird Chase. I had a hard time trying to capture a shot of this gal. Either she was in between branches, or had her back to me. When I finally would focus on her, she would fly off. Finally caught up with her! I really need to figure out how to get more speed chasing these guys tree to tree and then yard to yard. Perhaps that is why Willie has an attitude all the time. He's tired!? Day 17:365 (2011.01.17)
• This is Willie, my neighbor's cat. Willie is 13 years old and has a mean streak in him. He will let you pet him, but, only three times and then he attacks you. His owner can't even pet him. And apparently Willie has a great memory. Day 16:365 @sharkbayte
• These two bucks were in the yard today, together at the same time! The smaller deer hidden behind the older male is a button-buck. The button-buck is always here with his mother and a several other does. They were out of frame for this shot. It was nice to see the "New Family" for the first time. Day 15:365 @sharkbayte
• Waxing Gibbous Moon-Nine day old moon. 62% visible. I took this last night on the deck, I still can't get down the ramp because of the ice. Maybe today the rest of the ice will melt. This is the first time I was able to get much more details of the moon. I didn't have a clear view as the trees limbs where in the way if I was able to get to open sky I think I would have been better.
• Remains of the storm. We got more ice than snow. I took this from my door, the ice was just starting to melt. And seeing its a new year I wanted to do more with b&w. So I converted it and played around with it. Not sure if it works ok in b&w. Day 13:365 @sharkbayte
