March 5, 2011-Bambi and Thumper, well not quite, this cat and the deer are used to each other. I have seen the cats walk through the center of the deer herd as they are foraging for food. The deer sometimes get startled if the cats chase each other but not enough fright to flee. (Day 64 #365project @sharkbayte)

• March 13, 2011-Last night's moon was called the first quarter moon. It was eight days old and already fifty percent full. (Day 72 #365Project @sharkbayte)
• March 12, 2011- Treeson is a kind creature raised by the trees in the forest. He was stabbed in the chest with a tree branch by the logger who was trying to cut down the tree that raised him. After being wounded, he met Ren, his only human friend. Neither Treeson nor Ren are very popular with the local kids, but they keep each other company and try to save the trees in the city from being cut down by humans that want to put up more buildings. – Artist Bubi Au Yeung at Crazylabel.
This is my new collection and hopefully new adventures with the other characters I have. (Day 71 #365Project @sharkbayte)
• March 11, 2011-After the storms cleared out the sky started to brighten a bit, I grabbed my camera and went outside to capture what I could. This area filled with trees was the only part with the colors. (Day 70 #365Project @sharkbayte)
• March 10, 2011-Nova's eyes are so beautiful. She was napping outside waiting for her owner to come back from the store. She woke up when I got a bit closer to her and I didn't want her to take off so I stayed put and tried to get a decent head shot. I cropped and tweaked the contrast a bit. Other than that this is all her colors. (Day 69 #365Project @sharkbayte)
• March 9, 2011- I wanted to try something different with my moon shots. I was playing around with settings and to write up something for all that asked how I do this. This is very simple. I handhold but I bet if you use a tripod it would be better. I don’t have any special trick, I only played with the camera to get my shots, in the beginning last year I took a few hundred shots every time I tried this, until I got it right and found the settings I use now. I sometimes still play with the settings at different phases of the moon. I still don’t have it down to a science yet, but at least I am not taking several hundred shots each time. I take up to a dozen (big difference) and that is because I don’t trust what I see on my LCD screen, and I start to play around. I basically follow these settings:

full moon: ISO: 400 1/500 sec @f/16
half moon: ISO: 400 1/500 sec @f/11
Crescent moon: ISO: 400 1/125 sec @f/8

These are just guide lines I use. I do stray away from these from time to time. Such as today’s picture. I wrote the settings on the picture. I would have thought that the bottom moon would have shown more details in the craters but it looks like the top moon picture seems to have a tad more details. So after I get the settings right on the camera I aim and shoot. That’s it! Then I crop the photos to the size I want, very little tweaking if any. Hope this helped some.
• March 8, 2011- Just a quick shot of some new flowers my neighbor planted. (Day 67 #365project @sharkbayte)
• March 7, 2011- He's an angel...when he is sleeping. I cropped close to his paw because he fell asleep in between a box of tissues and some other articles on the other side of him. If I moved or tried to move the items out of the way he would have woken and lost the shot. I have no clue how he can tell when I am taking his picture while he is sleeping. He just wakes up, so this was a treat for me to capture him sleeping and with a semi decent clear shot. (Day 66 #365Project @sharkbayte)
• March 6, 2011-Chipping Sparrow, a few different bird species started to show up this week. This is one of them I haven't seen before. (Day 65 #365Project @sharkbayte)

• March 4, 2011 - Oh the gang was happy when they borrowed a friends truck for a little joy ride. All we heard was this: "On the road again Goin' places that I've never been Seein' things that I may never see again, And I can't wait to get on the road again." -Willie Nelson. • March 3, 2011-Hey human, it's getting kind of low on seeds in here. Bar keep hello?? (Day 62 #365Project @sharkbayte)
• March 2, 2011-Ties that bind. I found a bunch of these branches tied around another trees branches, tying the two together. I am not sure why it was happening and thought it was interesting. (Day 61 #365Project @sharkbayte)

Touching and sweet...and I thought the same thing...Bambi and Thumper...when I looked at the photograph.
Also, as I'm typing this comment, three of your moon pictures are visible to me, and I have to tell you...being able to view them like that is spectacular...I see a potential ptych-type
arrangement...would look really cool...
