  • 04.02.2010 #365Project Day 92- "Garbage"-this is my favorite dinner. In my house it's called this because of the smell of broccoli cooking. At least that is how the story went as I was growing up my great Aunt was cooking dinner for us. I had asked what was for dinner and she asked what does it smell like (I guess she shouldn't have asked my honest opinion, I was taught not to lie). So I said Garbage. It's been called that ever since. it's just pasta and broccoli with garlic and other seasonings. I don't like veggies so it is a wonder I even eat this. great. And my Mom is here for a short visit and she loves to cook so all my favorites she is cooking for me!! Yum!!

This is last years palm as my Mom won't be arriving for her yearly visit until tomorrow! Thanks for all the kind comments on my pictures these past few days.

  • 77/365 - 3 day old waxing crescent 10% Full. It was nice out today went out late afternoon and then after company left. Saw the moon and said why not. I need a challenge today! One site said the moon was 7% visible. Thanks everyone for all the kind comments! I am learning so much here!

  • 75/365 - 'Beannachtam na Feile Padraig!' Happy St. Patrick's Day! I know its a bit early but the gang wanted to make sure everything runs smoothly for tomorrow celebration. I forgot to tell them it was a "DRY" run...
