• Went back to the pond today to see if there were any color changes. I guess another week or so then the colors should start. #365Project Day 282 (2010.10.09) @sharkbayte
Thank you for all the kind comments and emails I have received!
• Bossy Bear and Crocadoca arrived today to survey the new ramp construction. I think Bossy is just here to supervise everyone Crocadoca actually had some plans drawn up...#365Project day 281 (2010.10.08) @sharkbayte
Thank you for all the comments on my photos!
• I got to go even further today exploring the area, I found two more hidden ponds. This is as close as I could get because of the big drop off from the road. #365Project Day 280 (2010.10.07) @sharkbayte
• The pond. I been waiting for months to get to this pond (actually there are two ponds). Thanks to my new chair I was able to make it here! It was very windy and I waited for some calm water but that never happened. If my chair could go through the woods I could get here very quickly. Day 279 #365Project (2010.10.06) @sharkbayte
Thank you for all the comments the past few days. My internet has been spotty, I go to comment and I lose connection or the pages "stick" This upload took very long as well. As soon as I can I will be back to comment on everyone's pictures. Sorry...
• Today Trunko was brave enough to ride with me (that took a lot of courage) as I was going to open up the chair full speed to test it and see what my limitations are. We figured I would take his picture to show no harm was done. We didn't get tossed from the chair this time. (Used my seat-belt, had I not, things would have been very different!) Day 278 #365Project (2010.10.05) @sharkbayte
• My new "mobile legs"!! Had to take a very quick shot as the tech was ready to make all the adjustments. So far it was worth the 11 months wait it took to get it ordered and people moving. Day 277-#365Project (2010.10.04) @sharkbayte

I'll have to get a full shot when I can get someone to move it around for me. Thanks for all the comments on my deer shots!
• This is my first encounter with this herd. This is one of the twins. The entire group was not scared of me. My neighbor said they ate all her flowers earlier. @sharkbayte
• Today another herd of deer came. There were seven of them with 2 little fawns, I called them the twins. Here one of the little ones is seen with an older fawn with his knobs growing which I read is termed a button-buck. This herd was funny, they weren't scared by me or the tree that happened to have fallen while taking these shots. #365Project Day 276 (2010.10.03) @sharkbayte
thank you for all the kind comments on my snake and beetle pictures and all the others as well! Your encouragement has helped me a lot. thank you!
• #2. As I tried to pass him he sort of reacted. I couldn't see him too well as the sun was in my eyes. I mangaged so snap this shot. I could barely see him when shooting. So it's not that great just thought it was an interesting shot. Corn snake-Elaphe guttata #365Project day 275 (2010.10.02)@sharkbayte
Thank you for all the comments on my photos! You are a great group of folks and I am learning so much from everyone!
• #1. Caught me off guard. This Corn Snake (Elaphe guttata) was about 5 feet from me. Frozen with his head like this and his body in a zig-zag. #365Project Day 275 (2010.10.02) @sharkbayte

Is this also known as the "cucumber beetle?" The more I look at your photos, the more I think that we either live in the same locale or we just have the same interests, especially if you include the M&Ms which, unfortunately, do not grow wild around here. (See my insect gallery)
