Snack time...For a Katydid. These yellow flowers were today's meal. I have some where the flower is in his mouth. I'll post those later. I am not sure why the colors changed when I uploaded to here, they are dull and off from what I see on my computer. Day 290 #365Project (2010.10.17) @sharkbayte
• After the rain. Day 293 #365Project (2010.10.20) @sharkbayte I am not sure why this looks much different than what my screen shows, it happens with a few shots.

Thank you for all the kind comments on my shots. I am starting to see a difference in my shots thanks to all of you!
  • Getting some changes in color not much though. Used a wide angle lens for this shot today. #365Project Day 292 (2010.10.19) @sharkbayte
Thank you for all the kind comments on my shots!
  • Patterns. Just a night shot handheld for an experiment. I like the colors and the pattern it made.
  • Just hanging out. Not sure what species of land snail this is. I was thinking Glossy Covet-Fumonelix christyi. If any one knows the ID I would appreciate the information.
• No Matter how long you practiced today, you are still not considered "THE THREE TENORS!" Day 289:365 #365Project @sharkbayte

Thank you for checking out all my photos and commenting!
  • Newly planted. My neighbor got a bunch of new flowers for her yard. I wish I could get closer to these to photography but couldn't get in closer. And I am still not sure how to capture flowers correctly. Day 288:365 (2010.10.15) @sharkbayte

Thank you for all the comments yesterday/today!
  • It poured on and off today, every time I wanted to get outside to get some pictures it rained. I finally caught a break for a few minutes. Day 287:365 (2010.10.14) @sharkbayte
• These tiny flowers were loaded with these very small wasps. I am not sure what these are called but they are very tiny and line the pathway into the woods. day 286:365 (2010.10.13) @sharkbayte

Thank you for all the comments on my pictures. I am learning a lot thanks to all of you!
  • Found this tiny flower at my neighbors house. She doesn't know what it's called. I just liked the colors. Day 285:365 (2010.10.12) @sharkbayte
• This flower has a load of visitors, aphids, fly and the Lady Bug. I believe this is a seven-spotted Lady Beetle Coccinella septempunctata. 284:365 (2010.10.11) @sharkbayte

Thank you for the comments on my pictures.
  • The Chase. I was watching the fawn when this big crow chased him out of the field. I took a few more shots and posted them in here: http://sharkbayte.smugmug.com/gallery/12874193_UJSX2/#1042376739_KUANk
This is also the first time I did more pp other than cropping and tweaking contrast or color. I had to remove a branch that was blocking most of the scene. It's not the greatest but I am sure with practice I will get the hang of it.

Thank you for all the comments and help I have been receiving here. It really means a lot to me. I am hoping I can comment on everyone's pictures tonight if not I hope the internet will be working better in the am.
Super macro with unbeleivable details - love the look of his eyes and I can see the ridges along his legs - superb!

Great macro, and nice "eye catch." (If there isn't a word in photography for catching the light in the eye or getting the eye perfectly, there should be. After all, somebody came up with "bokeh" and we had to go to Japan to get it.)
