Practice shot. I snuck out of the house, as I was going stir crazy being inside. I was going to try different settings, angles etc. And as I tried to move, my chair died again. I was lucky I met a neighbor, who was chasing after her loose dog. But, she didn't have to go far as I was already making friends with the dog when she found him. I was sure glad that dog came over to meet me. So now, I guess I have to stay inside again...Day 357 (2010.12.23) @sharkbayte

on December 24, 2010This is outstanding, Carrie! Someone in this community mentioned empty space in photography just a few days ago. I think this is a fantastic example of the value of empty space. I think the image is much more powerful with just a wave of light and color than it might be if you filled the frame. I'm really sorry to hear about the troubles with your chair, but I am glad that you managed to get out and capture this image. I wish all the very best this holiday season!
