Thank you for all the kind comments on my pictures. My computer is still down. As I am posting this at 1am (a tad late). I hope to get back and caught up tomorrow, if everything goes smoothly. Would anyone know why my camera Canon 50D is having a hard time focusing? In daylight, good decent light no low light. It seems to not want to focus and is having a hard time with it. If that is a good description. I had it on one photo, Al Servo and Al Focus same deal. Just thought I would see if anyone else had this issue or knows what is causing it. thank you!

My camera had major issues, if it can be fixed I'll use it as a backup. Now I have to learn all about this one.

I tried cleaning, no settings were changed but I reset things just in case I did. It's having other issues so it's going to be looked at Monday. As far as my computer...that will have to go in for repairs...My electronics like messing with me back to back!

    I like the bw in this portrait. Not sure about the camera but would agree with fotomom that you may have inadvertently changed settings

    Did you reset the settings just in case you hit something you didn't realize? Are all the normal focus points being used. When I shot with my Dad's 40D, I turned off some of the outer focus for a few shots to see what it would do. Hoping it's something simple and not mechanical.
