  • 04.02.2010 #365Project Day 92- "Garbage"-this is my favorite dinner. In my house it's called this because of the smell of broccoli cooking. At least that is how the story went as I was growing up my great Aunt was cooking dinner for us. I had asked what was for dinner and she asked what does it smell like (I guess she shouldn't have asked my honest opinion, I was taught not to lie). So I said Garbage. It's been called that ever since. it's just pasta and broccoli with garlic and other seasonings. I don't like veggies so it is a wonder I even eat this. great. And my Mom is here for a short visit and she loves to cook so all my favorites she is cooking for me!! Yum!!
  • 04.01.2010 Day 91- The Birthday/Easter Cake. The gang gathers round the egg to sing and wish Nana Happy 75th Birthday! They were also waiting for a piece of cake after all they have been waiting patiently for 24 hours...This shot was rushed so its not one of my better shots...

  • 03.28.2010-Day 87 #365Project The Holy week begins for Christians. Every year my Mom brings me this cross that a family friend makes from the palm given out at Mass. This is last years palm as my Mom won't be arriving for her yearly visit until tomorrow! Thanks for all the kind comments on my pictures these past few days.
