  • Practice shot. I snuck out of the house, as I was going stir crazy being inside. I was going to try different settings, angles etc. And as I tried to move, my chair died again. I was lucky I met a neighbor, who was chasing after her loose dog. But, she didn't have to go far as I was already making friends with the dog when she found him. I was sure glad that dog came over to meet me. So now, I guess I have to stay inside again...Day 357 (2010.12.23) @sharkbayte

  • This is the first time I have captured Christmas lights at night. I liked how the sky looked and wanted to get the sky and the lights in one shot. I cropped and tried to brighten the sky some, but not much difference from how it came out of the camera. I need to practice more with lights and night shots.     Great view, Carrie. About the same view at my house:-) I could not believe they plowed Hwy. 42 already and it's clear from my house to town, but with the low overnight temps the next 2 nights, it will only be safe to be out midday...maybe. What a storm! What a day!
