This is PJ Berri, when our eyes met, it was love at first sight, so I adopted him and I think he adopted me as well. What a Christmas gift! There were some other conditions with the adoption and you'll meet his buddies next. *yes, they had to come along and boy are they a motley crew."<br /> <br /> I posted two for today as I have missed many months and hope to be forgiven! I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and whatever your beliefs or traditions are. I hope to be back to the dailies, daily if not at least once a week. I posted two for today as I have missed many months and hope to be forgiven! I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and whatever your beliefs or traditions are. I hope to be back to the dailies, daily if not at least once a week. I have missed all of you, the connections, friendships, photos and thank you to all who have written, sent good thoughts and prayers. You all are the best! So Happy Holidays!

  • It was a package deal, all or nothing. So yes, you guessed it. I wanted PJ so bad, I had to take his friends. The house and all the rest of the gang are in a state of chaos! Can't wait to see what Krunk-A-Claus, Crusty, Saner Burglar, Gingerman, Chuckboy the naughty reindeer and Frenchie are going to act like at Christmas dinner. I see there is nog, wine and who knows what Crusty is drinking.<br /> <br /> I posted two for today as I have missed many months and hope to be forgiven!   • August 30, 2011-Caught Nova chilling under the tree with the bird feeders. She loves to sleep under the tree in the shade. Not sure how the birds like that idea. (242:365) I am posting late again and might have to for the next week or so. Thanks for all the comments on my shots the past few days. Hope to get caught back up soon.
  • August 29, 2011-Willie was sitting in his favorite spot, from here he can stare into the window at his owner. (241:365) Posting very late today, wanted to thank you for all the comments on my shot yesterday.
  • August 28, 2011-Pre-storm clouds from Irene arrived Friday afternoon. We didn't have any major problems. Lights flickered, lost internet and a lot of downed tree limbs and branches. One such branch bounced off the roof and nailed me on the head and shoulder, but being a hard-head and having broad shoulders that branch didn't stand a chance. (Okay, I whimpered a bit and drove my wheelchair into the railing on the ramp.) I am a klutz. Anyway, I hope everyone stays/stayed safe from Irene. (240:365) thank you for all the wonderful comments on my robber fly shot, you folks are the best!
  • August 27, 2011-Caught another Promachus - Giant Robber Fly in the field by some power line towers. I was actually looking for some dragon flies but never saw any. The winds started picking up over night. So I am going to post early while I still have power. Stay safe everyone. (239:365)
  • August 26, 2011-My neighbor's bush has only this one flower on it. She said its a gardenia bush, but it doesn't have a scent to it. (238:365) thanks for all the comments on my shot yesterday!
  • August 25, 2011-This is Hercules. One of six pups Pancho and Bella created. The sun was very bright and the pups were in half shade and bright sun when I saw Bella and Pancho running towards me with the little ones following behind. (237:365)
  • August 24, 2011-Did you hear that? Sonic hearing powered by PPE - pure puppy energy. (236:365)
  • August 23, 2011-This petunia caught my eye, as I went to take a few shots the wind picked up. I waited for the wind to stop as soon as I focused the wind picked up again. This went on for a while, I swear it was as if the wind knew exactly when to blow. (235:365) Posting very late today, thanks for the comments on my shot yesterday, some of them really cracked me up! And no they better not paint it pink either!
  • August 22, 2011-We had a barn raising yesterday. Titus, Affonsoz and Hannibal from the I.W.G. got together and raised a barn for some of our friends. Everyone was so happy with them. (I didn't want to say anything but that roof is a bit off.) I'll see if I can get them to straighten it before the gang paints it. (234:365)
  • August 21, 2011-Went down to the pond today just to check things out. I should have gone later in the day as I shouldn't be out in the sun too long, but I am hard headed. (233:365)
