June 12, 2011-Still waiting, no babies yet. But I did have a chat with them regarding this. Shortly after taking this we had a big t-storm and down pours. I am hoping she didn't deliver during the storm. (Day 163:365 @sharkbayte).
Thanks for all the comments on the IWG gang, they are a proud group! And they want to protect all the worlds animals and their habitats.

• June 21, 2011-This is a Flesh fly; Genus Sarcophaga. The adults usually feed on nectar, fruit juices, sap and honeydew. They are found near decaying materials, carcasses, and dung (as seen here). They don't bite. And they are helpful with forensic entomology. They are one of the first arrive on a dead carcass, so investigators can determine time of death. I first thought this was a common housefly, but its red eyes and gray stripes gave it away. Thank you for all the comments on my moon shot, I truly appreciate each one. (Day 172:365 @sharkbayte).
• June 20, 2011- Took this early in the am on the 19th. Jasper needed to go outside and when I saw the moon I couldn't resist. I didn't think the sky was going to clear up from the storm earlier in the evening, but I am glad it did. (day 171:365 @sharkbayte)
• June 19, 2011-New flowers my neighbor brought home. She called me over so I can get a few shots, which was nice of her. Thanks for all the comments on my photo yesterday. Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's! (Day 170:365 @sharkbayte)
• June 18, 2011-Midnight snacks. The deer have been grazing through my neighbor's flowers. So what was left she placed in planters high above my head on a shelf outside her windows. This was shot with her window and screen in the background. (Day 169:365 @sharkbayte)
Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my Beetle shot yesterday, it was overwhelming, you all rock!
• June 17, 2011-The artist and his masterpiece. Here Mr. Beetle proudly shows off his latest creation. After showing my neighbor this latest creation, she started treating her plants. (Day 168:365 @sharkbayte) Thank you for all the wonderful comments and welcoming Cheburashka to the family.
• June 16, 2011-What an awesome surprise we had today. Cheburashka's cousin "The 2004 Russian Winter Olympic team mascot Cheburashka" (yes same name, his parents named him first) arrived today via my awesome friends, Susan and Rustem a.k.a. RuSu (thank you!) What a fun day and night! Our newest member sang and danced with us for hours. I left everyone partying and wanted to post this before heading to bed! Thank you all for your kind comments on my catnap photo yesterday! You all rock! (Day 167:365 @sharkbayte)
• June 15, 2011-Catnap. Billy seems to be the king of catnaps. Seems his favorite spot is under the trees, in the shade, on top of the tractor cover. Who's better than him? (Day 166:365 @sharkbayte)
• June 14, 2011-Sun block, SPF 50? I'm looking forward to the cooler temps (mid 80's) and less humidity.(Day 165:365 @sharkbayte) Thank you for all the terrific comments on my moon shot yesterday.
• June 13, 2011-Moon lit branches. We had another t-storm, some heavy rain and strong wind. I wasn't going to try for a moon shot, but after hearing something hit my roof and then drop onto the ground. I went outside to investigate. It was a huge branch that the park manager was going to have removed because it was right over my roof. The noise from this branch was so loud my next-door neighbor came outside to see what had happened. The rain had stopped and i saw the moon peering through the tree branches. Thought it was pretty neat, even though it was very foggy. (Day 164:365 @sharkbayte)
Thank you for all the comments on my deer shot yesterday. All our fine, but still no babies.

• June 11, 2011- As the day progressed we had a lot of thunder and lighting. We started to head for the house, the thunder was getting louder and the sky was turning black and this is the sight we saw come out of the forest. Friends let me introduce you to the 3 founding members of the Insurgents Wilderness Gruppo/I.W.G: Hannibal The Mountain Guerrilla , Alfonso the White Rhino, and Titus the Grizzly Bear. I have heard of these guys but only in whispers at night around the camp fires. They are visionaries and the first of their kind. With steadfast fortitude and dedication, they are leading animal-kind to a new era...Bad humans beware, you can run but you can't hide, the I.W.G. will be there...*(Day 162:365 @sharkbayte).
*Part me and part from their box top. Thank you for all the comments and warm welcome to Topo, you all rock!
• June 10, 2011-A little birdie came to me in my dreams and told me to go to the rock. Well bless my soul, I found a mole! This is Topo, he followed me home. Not sure if having a mole in the gang is a good thing or not. But we'll keep him entertained for sure. (Day 161:365 @sharkbayte)
Thanks for all the comments yesterday! And for those who asked I haven't smelled the stink bugs, but I also didn't frighten him. I have heard they really stink if upset or threatened.

Wonderful capture of their beautiful faces & their little 'babies in waiting'.... our babies arrived about 2 weeks ago, we have spotted 2 so far. Isn't it strange they would deliver first so far north of you? Or maybe not.... who am I to question the wisdom of Nature, silly me....:-))
