  • February 13, 2011- The Waxing Gibbous (nine day old) Moon. I finally captured it during the day. I have such a hard time getting a day time shot of the moon. Wasn't sure what I was doing wrong, it was always too faint, not a lot of details, just a bad shot. But this time, (2/12/11) I finally got it! Day 44 #365Project @sharkbayte
  • February 12, 2011 - The Bachelors. After dinner I was looking for something sweet, I couldn't find the little candy hearts I had last week. After a few minutes of searching I found Beau with Andy Android and Poohba (pup) all sitting waiting for me to get a quick pic. They wanted to post it on their Facebook page!?! What?? I swear they need constant supervision!!! Day 43 #365project @sharkbayte

  • February 9, 2011-In between feeders. This guy was going from feeder to feeder. Seems like he wanted to stop and pose for me. I wanted to stay out longer but I got too chilled. They are saying it will get colder for us and possibly have snow tonight. Day 40 #365Project @sharkbayte
  • February 8, 2011-We're lost!?! Suzuki and Danboard were exploring and found a teleportation device. After pressing the buttons, they found themselves on the planet of red sand. Danboard the scientific one thinks they are on the planet that Suzuki came from. They are going to check out the area and see if they can figure out where they are and how to get back home.   • February 7, 2011 - A super pie for the super bowl. Homemade pizza pie, white pizza with broccoli. This was the only way I would eat broccoli when I was younger. Now the dog gets it. Just kidding. Day 38 #365Project @sharkbayte
  • February 6, 2011-What'cha doing? I was shooting some birds and watching them through the lens, as I moved the camera I was expecting to see a bird and this is what popped up! I wasn't paying attention, never saw him come into the yard or my view. Nice surprise! Day 37-#365Project @sharkbayte
  • February 5, 2011-What? What do you want?? I'm playing here. I swear he loves to play games. Jasper was playing, speaking and making all kinds of sounds, I guess his version of singing. I grabbed my camera and not once would he look at me! Finally after calling him to turn around I got this look and boy it was maybe a nanosecond of a look! How dare I interrupt his concert...LOL!   • February 3, 2011 – Patterns and lines. I liked the patterns and the lines on the wood as well as the cord from Jasper's retractable leash, which was wrapped around the wood post. I cropped this macro to follow the rule of thirds but I didn't really like how it looked. I tried to play with it more but my body isn't willing to cooperate. #365Project Day 34 @sharkbayte<br /> <br /> Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my picture of the Ninja Cat.   • February 2, 2011-Ninja Cat. Allison has started sitting on this tree limb (when she isn't sleeping) to get a better vantage point for catching birds.   • February 1, 2011 - As I was in my neighbor’s yard looking at her plants, I spotted the deer under her tree. I tried to get closer but my tires got stuck in the mud. As I was changing my settings the deer took off and this was the only one I got.   • Jan. 30, 2011-I ventured off to the pond, as it was warmer than it had been. But after a few minutes the wind picked up and I froze all the way back. I managed a few shots before I took off. I was hoping to find some wildlife but nothing. Day 30:365 @sharkbayte<br /> <br /> Sorry, I didn't realize I where I was supposed to put the date on these.

  • Got seed? After what seemed like weeks, the rain has stopped and the sun was out. Still cold but at least it was sunny. The birds were out and looking for more seeds. Day 28:365 @sharkbayte
  • A bowl full of smiles or vitamins? If Jasper sees a bag of M&M's or in this case a bowl of them, he goes crazy, meaning: (Begging, whining, spinning around and carrying on). So I have to tell him they are medicine and he sort of leaves me alone. Not sure why it works but it does. Day 27:365 @sharkbayte<br /> <br /> Thank you for all the comments on my picture yesterday, and the encouragement for the lessons. Some of the materials had just arrived that day. There is an assignment list indicating what pictures I will need to complete that unit, I haven't gotten that far as there are six lessons or books for the first unit, plus a test.

  • I am going out today for the first time since I moved here in July. It's only to the doctors but it is nice to finally get out and go somewhere.
