Jasper and Pals

My boy Jasper and his pals. Just to let you know, Jasper is my baby and best bud. He brought me out of a deep depression. I would lay my life down for him as I know he would too. Sadly and suddenly (4/1/2012) Jasper passed away. My heart is broken. RIP my baby boy, until we meet again over the Rainbow Bridge.

  • April 17, 2011-Scared. This look is the result from mixing some really wild weather, tornadoes, t-storms, downpours and a Chihuahua. Normally Jasper doesn't get too nervous or scared when we have storms but not yesterday. (Day 107:365 @sharkbayte)
  • April 16, 2011 – “My Buddy.” Pancho, Lucy and their owner were returning from a run when we met. Pancho did his usual whining and then did something he never did. He jumped up on the arm of my wheelchair and licked my face. After we talked a bit the owner left with the pups. But, Pancho wasn't leaving. He started to walk away but only took 5 steps and came back for me. Here he wants to listen to the command to leave but resisted. I ended up having to go with him so he would leave. I think he's my buddy if I had any doubts before. (Day 106:365 @sharkbayte)
  • April 7, 2011-Playful pups. Pancho and Lucy were outside playing when I rolled by. Both came running when they spotted me. Whining and crying for attention. I couldn’t get closer because of a ditch but they calmed down as I talked to them. (Day 97:365 @sharkbayte)
  • March 7, 2011- He's an angel...when he is sleeping. I cropped close to his paw because he fell asleep in between a box of tissues and some other articles on the other side of him. If I moved or tried to move the items out of the way he would have woken and lost the shot. I have no clue how he can tell when I am taking his picture while he is sleeping. He just wakes up, so this was a treat for me to capture him sleeping and with a semi decent clear shot. (Day 66 #365Project @sharkbayte)
  • February 21, 2011- Pancho at the ready. One of my neighbors down the road owns Pancho. Pancho whines when he sees me and drags his owner to come greet me. Very strong and powerful pup but he's really a teddy bear in disguise! Day 52 @sharkbayte
  • February 5, 2011-What? What do you want?? I'm playing here. I swear he loves to play games. Jasper was playing, speaking and making all kinds of sounds, I guess his version of singing. I grabbed my camera and not once would he look at me! Finally after calling him to turn around I got this look and boy it was maybe a nanosecond of a look! How dare I interrupt his concert...LOL!   • Those eyes and boy does Pearlie Mae knows how to use them. Her owner is very well trained by Pearlie. She and Jasper are best of friends. Day 09/365
  • Wrong lens, wrong settings you name it. I came inside after trying to find something to shoot. I still had the camera on and caught Mr. Jasper on the furniture.   • Jasper has become very vocal lately. This is the start of his vocals when he wants whatever it is you have. He'll get your attention one way or the other even if you aren't paying attention. Here he wanted some lettuce. (Yes, he got some lettuce!) Day 339 (2010.12.05) #365project @sharkbayte
