When asked if I wanted another dog. I said yes, because Jasper rescued me; gave my life meaning and a purpose to survive. So in his honor I wanted to rescue a dog. I didn't want one that looked like him as I would be looking for my Jasper in another small dog. So I made it hard for everyone. I wanted a female German shepherd. I figured that would take them some time to find exactly what I wanted. However…I guess sometimes you get what you ask for. Meet Fräulein Conte.

From Fräulein

  • Walking the path<br /> She loves being outside and playing.
  • First bath<br /> Fräulein's first bath! Not so stinky now. Well, she never was stinky but once in a while we just have to take a bath.
  • Ready for action.<br /> Fräulein, is always ready for action, adventure, you name it. Here she is getting ready to do a full sprint.
  • Okay who is going to play with me? This is Fräulein, she was the only one left from her family in the shelter and her days were numbered. I think she was waiting for me to rescue her. In reality she rescued me and my broken heart. Fraulein now has a forever home. Thank you everyone for the kind words, thoughts, prayers and comments regarding the passing of my Jasper. Your words meant more to me than you realize.

  • Sleeping beauty, looking all innocent. Actually, she has been great, seeing she was abandoned with her brothers. She already is learning to go outside by sitting by the door.
