  • April 1, 2011-Eating for two - This doe appears pregnant; if she actually is pregnant, May or June she should be arriving with a little one. Her son from 2010 is still in the group, she chased him away from the apple a few minutes after this. Day 91:365 @sharkbayte

  • March 20, 2011-Standing guard. The deer returned last night after having been gone for a while. I was good to see them back and sleeping in the yard again. 79:365 @sharkbayte
  • March 17, 2011-On the lookout for the cats. The cats seemed to be everywhere today. This little guy ran on top of this rock to get a better view of where the cats were. He didn't stay too long. If you view it at larger sizes you can see how sharp his nails are. 76:365 @sharkbayte
  • Foraging for food.
  • February 6, 2011-What'cha doing? I was shooting some birds and watching them through the lens, as I moved the camera I was expecting to see a bird and this is what popped up! I wasn't paying attention, never saw him come into the yard or my view. Nice surprise! Day 37-#365Project @sharkbayte
  • Apprently he wanted to pose for another shot before he would move so I can get to the door. After this shot he took off up the tree which is to camera left out of frame. I was so hoping when I opened the door Jasper wouldn't come running out. The squirrel was only 4 feet above my head on the tree.
  • Bold and brazen at that. He didn't care I was eight or so feet him. he wasn't moving. So I put the camera to my face and shot this. Then he turned around I got another shot and then he took off to the tree which was behind him. I proceeded up my ramp, as I was going into my door I wanted to make sure he wasn't close by so Jasper wouldn't give chase. The squirrel was about my head about 4 feet away, not a care in the world. I was just happy that Jasper wasn't paying attention to anything other than his toy. Day 21:365 @sharkbayte
  • The yard was filled with over a dozen squirrels and some birds. As I was trying to focus on a squirrel Willie the cat came running through the yard and the squirrels scattered. Here are two who ran to safety.

  • Yesterday it was in the sixty's today much colder. Even though the sun was out, you could see your breath. So much for being in the south for warm temps. Day 04 (2011.01.04) @sharkbayte
  • Just chilling and relaxing today. Starting off pretty well, the weather is warmer and my chair is back!! Yay! now I can go outdoors once again! Happy New Year! #365Project Day 001 (2011.01.01) @sharkbayte
  • I was shooting something else. Lost in my own world, when I heard rustling of leaves, figured it was a cat or something. But this cutie wanted to see what I was doing. We talked a bit and she returned to where the other five deer were resting. Day 336 (2010.12.02) #365Project @sharkbayte
  • The Chase. I was watching the fawn when this big crow chased him out of the field. #365Project Day 283 (2010.10.10) @sharkbayte
  • Part II of the Chase
  • Start of the chase
  • Head shot, I tried adjusting the sharpness of my lens I think it is as sharp as it can get. Lately my camera and lens don't seem as sharp. @sharkbayte
  • Today another herd of deer came. There were seven of them with 2 little fawns, I called them the twins. Here one of the little ones is seen with an older fawn with his knobs growing which I read is termed a button-buck. This herd was funny, they weren't scared by me or the tree that happened to have fallen while taking these shots. #365Project Day 276 (2010.10.03) @sharkbayte
  • #2. As I tried to pass him he sort of reacted. I couldn't see him too well as the sun was in my eyes. I mangaged so snap this shot. I could barely see him when shooting. So it's not that great just thought it was an interesting shot. Corn snake-Elaphe guttata #365Project day 275 (2010.10.02)@sharkbayte
  • #1. Caught me off guard. This Corn Snake (Elaphe guttata) was about 5 feet from me. Frozen with his head like this and his body in a zig-zag. #365Project Day 275 (2010.10.02) @sharkbayte
