April 8, 2011-Waxing Crescent Moon, last night’s moon was only four days old. I try to capture the moon as early as I can. I was trying for a two and three day old moon, but I wasn't able to with the weather conditions. So this is the earliest I can get for this cycle. (Day 98:365 @sharkbayte for daily Post)

  • June 20, 2011- Took this early in the am on the 19th. Jasper needed to go outside and when I saw the moon I couldn't resist. I didn't think the sky was going to clear up from the storm earlier in the evening, but I am glad it did. (day 171:365 @sharkbayte)
  • June 13, 2011-Moon lit branches. We had another t-storm, some heavy rain and strong wind. I wasn't going to try for a moon shot, but after hearing something hit my roof and then drop onto the ground. I went outside to investigate. It was a huge branch that the park manager was going to have removed because it was right over my roof. The noise from this branch was so loud my next-door neighbor came outside to see what had happened. The rain had stopped and i saw the moon peering through the tree branches. Thought it was pretty neat, even though it was very foggy. (Day 164:365 @sharkbayte)
  • April 12, 2011- Eight day old moon or a waxing Gibbous moon, I been trying to capture the moon as soon as I can; starting at day three or four. But Mother Nature likes to mess with me. So far I have managed days five, seven and last night's eight day old moon. I am hoping for tonight, we'll see what Mother Nature wants to do. (Day 102:365 @sharkbayte)

  • March 20, 2011-Last night's moon was coined a super moon because of how it would appear much larger to us. It is also called the worm moon. 79:365 @sharkbayte
  • March 19, 2011-last night's waxing gibbous moon, fourteen days old and ninetynine percent full. Tonights moon will appear to be much larger as it is the closest to the earth than it has been in many years. I am hoping for a clear night to capture it. 78:365 @sharkbayte
  • March 18, 2011-A Waxing Gibbous Moon. Taken last night. Thirteen days old and 95% full. 77:365 @sharkbayte
