  • June 18, 2011-Midnight snacks. The deer have been grazing through my neighbor's flowers. So what was left she placed in planters high above my head on a shelf outside her windows. This was shot with her window and screen in the background. (Day 169:365 @sharkbayte)
  • June 8, 2011-All tied up. Last week I had to handhold these flowers to I could capture them. They fell over a few days later. My neighbor tied them to a stick and now they are perfect height for me to capture them. The white background is her house. Thank you so much for all the comments yesterday on my bluebird.   • June 5, 2011-First bloom on the Rose of Sharon Bush. I was out looking for birds and spotted the first bloom on this bush. So of course I grabbed the shot. Hoping tomorrow I can find more blooms/flowers. (Day 156:365 @sharkbayte)

  • May 30, 2011-One handed shot, so it's not as sharp as it could be. I had the camera in one hand and tried to hold down the flower with the other hand. The flower was above my head so I had to bend it enough to take the shot. Thanks for all the comments on my photo and lens! Have a Happy Memorial Day and/or Happy Monday for those outside the US.   • May 19, 2011-Blooming early or late depending how you look at it. My Christmas cactus bloomed around Thanksgiving and now it's blooming again.   • April 27, 2011- Rain drops and Irises, okay should have been roses, but this is all I have for today. I briefly went outside to take pictures and then the t-storms returned.   • April 24, 2011- An angel or tree flower, this reminds me of an angel; the head is the center of the flower, with two wings or arms and the body. As a kid, we had several small white angel ornaments for Christmas and this reminds me of them. Thank you for all the comments on my photos. Happy Easter! (Day 114:365 @sharkbayte)
