  • New flowers-Dinner Plate Hibiscus<br /> August 3, 2012-Found these new flowers in my neighbors yard. Dinner Plate Hibiscus - Hibiscus moscheutos
  • Another cheat in white<br /> July 22, 2012-Just another cheat on the background, this time in white. (Day 22/365)
  • Gardenia and guests<br /> July 15, 2012-This is another flower shot using my flash. The past few flower shots are more for me learning to replace backgrounds. (which I know I need a lot more practice doing). This I "painted" on in photoshop. I try to control my finger movement and twitching by doing this. Not sure if it qualifies as therapy but I am finding I am able to control my trigger finger better this way and its very relaxing for me as well. I know I'm weird, go ahead and laugh, I do. (Day 15/365)
  • Yellow and black<br /> July 14, 2012-Posting very late tonight. Another flower from my neighbors yard. This time I used flash to take this shot. Day 14:365
  • Tiny flower<br /> July 13, 2012-I found this tiny flower at my neighbors house. I was checking on her cats (there are about 17) and spotted this little one. I have no clue what it is called. Day 13/365
  • Rose of Sharon<br /> July 11, 2012-Finally getting some flowers on the bush, management went around and did their pruning in the fall, I didn't think this bush would flower again. There are fewer flowers than in previous years but as I got closer I saw a lot of buds growing. Day 11/365
  • Roadmap<br /> July 7, 2012 - veins. Oh yes, another day posting late. Day 7/365
  • Sweet Pea<br /> July 3, 2012- I saw these growing at my neighbors house, she told me they were some type of peas. I took her word for it.

  • August 26, 2011-My neighbor's bush has only this one flower on it. She said its a gardenia bush, but it doesn't have a scent to it. (238:365)
  • August 23, 2011-This petunia caught my eye, as I went to take a few shots the wind picked up. I waited for the wind to stop as soon as I focused the wind picked up again. This went on for a while, I swear it was as if the wind knew exactly when to blow. (235:365)
  • August 20, 2011-I see the start of a nice salsa coming together. (232:365)
  • August 19, 2011-The flower caught my eye as I was going past my neighbors yard. The vine seems to find anything new in the yard and claims it as its own. I swear its from the "Little shop of horrors". (231:365)
  • July 14, 2011-The deer have been snacking on my neighbor's plants. but I found that they left these alone for now. (195:365)
  • July 11, 2011-One of the tomatoes in my garden. I thought the color was neat. (192:365)
  • July 3, 2011-Early evening light on the petunias. I wasn't outside to long, as it's extremely hot again. This caught my eye as I got closer to it. My neighbor has these hanging above my head so this is about the only part of the plant I can see. (184:365)
  • June 26, 2011-This is I believe a Hybrid Oriental Lily Scheherazade, that my neighbor across the street is growing. This is the yard I get most of my bird shots from. (Day 177:365 @sharkbayte)
