  • I was trying to capture the mourning dove and we were photo-bombed by a squirrel!
  • Bird Chase. I had a hard time trying to capture a shot of this gal. Either she was in between branches, or had her back to me. When I finally would focus on her, she would fly off. Finally caught up with her! I really need to figure out how to get more speed chasing these guys tree to tree and then yard to yard. Perhaps that is why Willie has an attitude all the time. He's tired!? Day 17:365 (2011.01.17)
  • A female Downy Woodpecker. My neighbor's bird feeders were swaying so I decided to check things out. There were 4 different species there as well as the neighborhood cats. The cats went away empty handed but not for a lack of trying. My neighbor raised the heights of the bird feeders. Day 335 (2010.12.01) #365Project @sharkbayte
  • #3 in a flash he turned around and joined the cardinal
  • #2 Oops-day 218-over shooting the feeding station. This bird came from the right side of the feeder, over shot it and came back. Just wish I had my better lens for this one, as I am not impressed with the sharpness. #365Project (2010.08.06)
  • #1. this little guy seems to be confused whether he should stop or keep going
  • Spread your wings. This is the second shot behind my head. Not a great shot but I couldn't turn the wheelchair around fast enough.
  • the Crow (first shot behind my head one handed)

  • Spring is in the air! This guy was signing his head off today. (Mockingbird, Mimus polyglottos).
  • 78/365 #365 Project -A-well-a bird, bird, bird, the bird is the word...this song was stuck in my head all day! This is a White Breasted Nuthatch. Sitta carolinensis
  • Day 32-Project 365 (032/365) Sneaking up on him. I had to shoot through the vertical blinds on the door to get him.
